Turn emails into actionable reminders without leaving your inbox! Simply forward messages to email2reminder@saythetime.com, and we’ll handle the rest.

How It Works

  1. Forward any email to email2reminder@saythetime.com.
  2. Specify your reminder details at the top of the email body (or subject line) using plain text.
  3. Include #tags or ! for priority (optional).

Example email text:
Remind me to finalize the budget every Friday at 3 PM #work !

Review attached proposal 2 days before October 10 #projects

Date Formatting

Write reminders in natural language for any schedule:

  • Specific dates: “September 25 at 2 PM”, “2025-12-31 17:00”
  • Relative dates: “tomorrow morning”, “in 3 days”, “next week”
  • Recurring: “every Monday at 9 AM”, “daily at 7 PM”, “every 6 months”

Tags & Priority

  • Add #hashtags to categorize reminders (e.g., #work, #finance, #health).
  • Mark as high priority with ! to highlight urgent tasks.

Example use cases:

  • Forward a bill payment email: Pay by October 5 #bills !
  • Forward a meeting invite: Remind me 1 hour before every Wednesday at 11 AM #meetings

Attachments & Details

  • Original email attachments are preserved in the reminder.
  • Notes or deadlines from the email body are automatically included in the reminder description.

Pro Tip: Use tags like #read_later or #follow_up to batch-process non-urgent emails into organized reminders!
